Gas Burner Control Type CSS

A compact low cost fully automatic control with integral spark generator for atmospheric and small forced draught burners designed to meet GAD requirements.

Description

The Pactrol CSS provides automatic ignition control and flame supervision for gas burners with inputs of up to 60kW (forced draught) or above (atmospheric).

It is for use with either direct main burner ignition or pilot burner ignition systems on 1st and 2nd family gas appliances.

A prepurge period and ignition safety period are provided. Flame supervision is by flame rectification with the option of UV sensing with the addition of our special Pactrol UV head.

The control will make a re-ignition attempt following flame-failure. If any ignition attempt is unsuccesful, the control will go to lock-out, only being reset by interrupting the electrical supply.

Outputs are provided for a two stage gas valve, within the ratings specified. Ancilliary controls such as time switches or thermo-stats etc are normally arranged to switch the electrical supply to the control. Direct control of the main burner only while operating a continous pilot is not recommended.

A supply voltage surge arrestor is fitted.
