For over 30 years Pactrol has been designing and making automatic ignition and supervision Controls for gas-fired appliances, both for domestic and commercial use.
We now have many millions of controls working throughout Europe and beyond, all designed to meet stringent requirements for safety and reliability.

Pactrol is particularly noted for its fail-safe technology designed to ensure that neither people or property are endangered by the use of any types of gas-fired appliance.

For the last 20 years Pactrol has been actively involved in the preparation of European Standards specifically designed to maintain and extend user's confidence in the safe use of hydrocarbon gases as a prime energy source in the home and at work.

Our technology and products are among the best in the world where medium to high volume, security controls are required at the lowest cost.

Confirmation of our success can be seen from our growth rate and the fact that all our safety-critical products are required to be assessed and Certificated by a third party before they can be offered for sale.

As an OEM customer, you must be assured that a controls supplier can not only provide you with a
fully approved product, but that they also have adequate systems in place to ensure quality control both during the processes of design and manufacture.

Company Certification

International Quality Assurance System for Design and Manufacture, ISO 9001, first granted in May 1992 and recently updated to ISO 9000 : 2000.

EC Certification for the Design and Manufacture of Gas Burner Control Systems, Quality System Certificate SIC 3442, granted October 1994.

National 'Investors in People' scheme for the effective employment of our most important resource, granted in July, 1994.

Accreditation to the International Environmental Management Standard, ISO 14001

Product Certification

Pactrol has always sought and received 3rd-Party recognition for its safety-critical products
since it was founded over 35 years ago.

Currently we hold EC Certification for a wide variety of standard and OEM products, obtained either via Advantica in the UK , Gastec in the Netherlands and Italy , or DVGW in Germany .

In addition, Pactrol has Product Certification in the USA and Canada against ANSI standards
